My roommate, Madi, and I
The drive along the coast was beautiful, but also eerie since it was so foggy. (Sorry about the reflections)
We had a pit stop in this tiny little town called Larne. The houses and boats were adorable and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. We were only there for about 15 minutes, but it was one of my favorite places in Ireland.
Next we stopped at Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge in Ballintoy, Ireland. We hiked along the cliffs and crossed a rope bridge to some more cliffs with an amazing view of the ocean. You could see Scotland! This was one of my favorite things we did on the entire trip. Hence why I took a gazillion pictures.
I miss the wildflowers...
All throughout the trip I felt like I had to cap my excitement to a normal person's level so that I wouldn't annoy anyone. I think Alexandra had to do the same thing, so whenever we saw each other in these settings we just couldn't contain ourselves anymore and we freaked out for a few minutes together. After that we could contain it again for a few days. Seriously, I don't know what I would have done without her!
Helllloooo Scotland!
